Biography

Prof. Joseph J. Smulsky is a chief scientist of the Institute of the Earth's Cryosphere of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Science, a doctor of physics and mathematical sciences, and Professor at the Tyumen Architectural-Building Academy. He was born 13.04.1944 in Poninka, Polonskiy District, Khmelnitskiy area. Since termination the Kharkov Aviation Institute Smulsky has worked for 21 years at Novosibirsk scientific research institutes and Design Offices. In Institute he works since 1988. Smulsky is the specialist in the mechanics of liquids and gas, ecology, wind energy, electrodynamics, and theoretical mechanics. He is the author and co-author more than 100 scientific works and inventions, including three monographs.

Basic achievements:

1. Protection of the Atmosphere. Within an authors group, Smulsky developed specifications for regulation by the quality of atmospheric city air. He analysed the conditions of systems of gas purification in thermo-power stations. He also developed a new parameter of atmosphere pollution and an automated pollution rating for a city atmosphere, which was introduced in Tyumen in 1991. In 1988, Smulsky headed the North Development Institute expertise on the feasibility of arrangement of condensate deposits on Yamal.

  • "A Complex Parameter and Levels of Pollution of Atmosphere during Adverse Meteorological Conditions", Meteorology and Hydrology, N8, pp. 48-56 (1987). (In Russian)

2. Wind Energy. Smulsky developed a new direction in wind energy, offering various designs of Screw wind turbine: three-rotor wind turbine, self-oriented wind aggregate, cantilevered wind aggregate, vertical screw wind rotor, multi-rotor wind-dam etc. He also developed the scientific bases of their application.

  • "The Screw Wind Turbines and Their Features," The Engineer-Physical Journal, V74, N5, pp. 187-195 (2001). (In Russian) (Journal of Engineering Physics & Thermophysics - In English)

3. Vortical Flows. Smulsky executed systematic experimental and theoretical researches of vortex chambers aerodynamics. He investigated movement of particles in the vortex chambers and processes of particles separation. He developed methods of calculation of aerodynamics and processes in the vortex chambers and in vortex devices.

  • "The Aerodynamics and Processes in the Vortex Chambers," Science (Novosibirsk), p. 301 (1992). (In Russian)

He revealed four mechanisms of circulation formation of the natural vortexes and two mechanisms of energy formation of the atmospheric vortexes that he had lain in a basis of discharge theory of the atmospheric vortexes.

  • "Discharge Theory of Tornado", The Engineer-Physical Journal, V70, N6, pp.979-989 (1997). (In Russian) (Journal of Engineering Physics & Thermophysics - In English).

4. The Foundations of Physics. Smulsky investigated a modern method of describing interactions of the moving bodies, studied transformations of space and time, and established lacks of a modern method. He developed a method of describing electromagnetic interactions, based on dependence of forces on distance and velocity of interacted bodies. He established the absence of objective interdictions on superluminal movements and offered methods of their achievement. He showed the validity of classical mechanics, Newton's law of gravity and showed an inaccuracy of special and general theories of relativity.

Description

In the monograph it is justified the calculation approach of electromagnetic and gravitational interactions of moving bodies, in which the space, time and mass do not depend on the movement. The main concepts of mechanics are analysed and determined. From the experimental laws the main electrodynamic equations are derived. Having solved them the force of interaction of two moving bodies is founded and the trajectories of their movement are obtained. The forces of action of the different form bodies are derived and the methods of account of the elementary particles accelerators are given. The applicability boundaries of the Theory of Relativity are considered and the light phenomena are represented at movement of the receiver and source. The interactions of two bodies at nearluminal velocities are investigated. The results of modern observations of superluminal movements are analysed, the methods of superluminal particles production are represented and the perspectives of their use at the unasteroidal defense of the Earth and for cosmic flights to stars are shown. The problems of the gravity velocity propagation, precession of the Mercury perihelion, the substance accretion and the Sun energy are considered. The problem of many bodies is represented and for special cases the accurate solution is obtained.

The book will be useful for inquisitive senior pupils, students, teachers of physics and physicists.

?For a long time still I spoke to some friends-physicists: attend and construct an electrodynamics, which based on the dependence on the force from the velocity of a charge ? And here, at last, I see fulfillment of this problem ? In verity of your way I practically do not doubt." 23.01.95. Prof. V.V. Cheshev, doctor of philosophic sciences.

"?I want to mark an extreme simplicity and clearness of your idea, which now is not being meeting in the scientific publications. ? For the first time there is a good scientific work about the relativity theory and about the laws of electromagnetic interaction, it is your book". 25.02.95 B.A. Bondarev, physicist.

"Your book I read till 3-00 to night ? I was especially pleasant by the explanation of an invariance of mass, and I completely agree that the interaction of two charged particles depends on their relative velocity." 17.10.95 A. A. Dolgov, physicist.

"In youth I have spent a lot of time trying to find a discrepancy at Einstein, as I could not accept the conclusions following from his theory. It seems to me by scientific speculation, with what I continue to consider it. Unfortunately, I could not to find such discrepancies, therefore I have left occupations by physics and have concentrated the efforts on engineering, in which all is kept on sanity of sense of a reality. It was possible for you. Your conclusions are not simply convincing, they inspire and give hope." 1.03.96. Prof. V.V. Bugrovsky, doctor of technical sciences.

"... This is a monstrous crime before a science that "the censorship" does not pass works, in which the gravitation is investigated without application of Einstein?s hypotheses. For you it was necessary anew to discovery that at one time it was offered Heaviside, though you go in your book much further, than Heaviside." 04.06.96. Prof. Oleg D. Jefimenko.

"Prof. Smulsky is arguably the most outspoken and distinguished opponent of Special Theory of Relativity; his contribution honours for Special. Rel. Let ". G.Walton, SRL - 1997.-V.1, N.3.-P.61.

Description

The book is in two languages: Russian on the front and English on the back of each page, 82 pages each.

The theory of orbital climate forcing is revisited with an approach which implies numerical integration of differential equations for the orbital and rotational motions. In the orbital motion problem, the new code is applied to integrate the orbits of eleven material particles of the Solar System (nine planets, the Moon, and the Sun) over a time span of 100 Myr. The accuracy and stability of the method are checked in several tests. The obtained solutions reliably predict that the Solar System remains stable within the integrated interval.

The rotational motion equations are derived from the law of angular momentum change and are integrated separately for the actions of each planet and the Sun on the Earth over 10 kyr. An-other way to solve the problem is to simulate the Earth rotation in a compound model in which 110 kyr integration is used to explore the motion of model bodies and the evolution of precession and nutation of the model spin axis. The modeling results agree with other reported solutions and with approximations of observation data.

Objectives of future work are outlined according to problems that remain unresolved in the astronomical theory of climate change. The book is intended for those interested in climate forcing issues, including university and high school students.

Abstract:

The gravitational influence of one body on another is determined by Newton gravity force. Unfortunately, at 18 century the field was entered. And gravitational interactions are now understood so. The first body creates a field, and this field acts on the second body. The concept of field has resulted in many mistakes in the contemporary science. For example, a homogeneous rotating sphere and the same non- rotating sphere have identical distribution of gravitational potential around of itself, i.e. create an identical gravitational field. Therefore automatically is considered, that these two bodies will equally act on weighty point, which moves around of them. Actually it is not so. To determine the influence of the rotating body on the weighty point, it is necessary to integrate the motion equations of weighty point with influence of Newton gravity force from all parts of a rotating body. Such task is very difficult and, probably, sometime it will be solved. We have elected other way and have considered compound model of rotating body. Its rotation we represent as axis-symmetrical located in one plane of the several bodies, which as a result of mutual gravitational attraction rotate around of central body. In result of influence of such compound model of the Sun rotation the computed velocities of change of all parameters of orbits: eccentricity, angles of inclination, of ascending node and perihelion have coincided for all planets from Mercury up to Neptune with results of observations.

Abstract:

A high-precision method of calculating gravitational interactions is applied in order to determine optimal trajectories. A number of problems, necessary for determination of optimal parameters at a launch of a spacecraft and during its flyby near celestial bodies, are considered. The spacecraft trajectory was determined by numerical integration of the equations of passive motion of the spacecraft and of the equations of motion for planets, the Sun, and the Moon. The optimal trajectory of the spacecraft approaching the Sun is determined by fitting its initial conditions.

Abstract:

Russian Geology and Geophysics. The theory of orbital climate forcing implies an approximate Earth rotation model which has never been checked against other methods. We simulate the rotating Earth in compound models as a system of equal peripheral parts that orbit a central body and investigate the orbital evolution as affected by the gravity pull from the Sun, the Moon, and the planets. The predicted nutation cycles agree well with estimates by other methods. The model of periodic convergence and divergence of peripheral bodies may be useful to explain interaction of continents.

Abstract:

The non-relativistic direction in physics existed since the advent of the relativity theory (RT). But, despite great numbers of independent, talented and skilled adherents, results of their activity have not yet led to the rejection of pseudo-scientific theories. There exist external and internal causes for this. Some actions must possibly be taken to safeguard the works of our generation. These actions must promote consolidation of the non-relativistic movement and obtaining of proved results. It is offered to discuss the problem of disunion of non-relativistic works and their development. For consolidating the non-relativistic movement, the discussions on the following directions are suggested. 1. Forming a scientific methodology of investigations 2. Forming the list of problems for joint physical investigations 3. Construction of the common base of performed works 4. Forming of united physical basis All interested colleagues are invited to participate in a detailed discussion of the above proposals.

Proceedings of the NPA, Volume 4, No. 2, pp. 240-241

2007, 14th Natural Philosophy Alliance Conference, Storrs, CT, United States

Abstract:

The Natural Philosophy Alliance (NPA) sponsors regular international conferences for presenting high-quality papers discussing aspects of philosophy in the sciences. Many papers offer challenges to accepted orthodoxy in the sciences, especially in physics. Everything from the micro-physics of quantum mechanics to the macro-physics of cosmology is entertained. Though the main interest of the NPA is in challenging orthodoxy in the sciences, it will also feature papers defending such orthodoxy. Our ultimate purpose is to enable participants to articulate their own understanding of the truth. All papers are reviewed by society officers, and sometimes by other members, before presentation in conferences, and they are edited, sometimes very significantly, prior to publication in the Proceedings of the NPA. NPA is, in turn, the only component of the non-profit corporation: The Natural Philosophy Foundation, Inc., (NPF). The NPF was incorporated in the State of Maryland on July 17, 1995 with the intent to become a long-term science fostering charity organization

Real Knowledge About the World and Unhypothetical Way of Their Receiving

2006, International Congress 2006: Fundamental Problems of Natural Sciences and Engineering, Saint-Petersburg, Russia

Abstract:

The many man's understandings about the world is becoming erroneous with the passage of time. But it is also such, which remain true during centuries and even millennia. We name them real knowledge about the world. As a result of the analysis I have come to a conclusion, that all real knowledge are received as follows. For studying any property of the object of world around, one of them is accepted as the standard. The measure of this property is determined by comparison of the property of the object with the property of the standard. Then the relations between different properties are established as a result of measurements. In this way the knowledge is received without hypothesis, therefore we shall name it unhypothetical method.

Abstract:

The influence of light source on the receiver as electromagnetic interaction is considered. The mechanical influence of the moving charged body on motionless one is defined by the experimental laws of electrodynamics. These laws determine the changes of parameters of the light source which moves relatively the receiver. The laws of change of light frequency and its direction of the moving source are derived from the laws of electromagnetism. At small velocity of source movement they coincide with classical results: the Doppler effect and phenomenon of aberration. The interaction of the source and receiver depends only on their velocity of movement relatively each other. There is no world medium, the relative movement to which would influence on the characteristics of light source.

Special Relativity Letter, Volume 1, No. 3, pp. 47-49

Abstract:

Subject matter: 1. Any topic associated with the debate about special relativity (SR). But note that all SR conclusions are self-contradictory and mathematically invalid: the very notion of experimental verification is a category error; discussions of experimental aspects are therefore excluded. 2. Mathematical aspects of SR kinematics, and concepts associated with It (simultaneity, contraction, time dilation, etc.). Note that the 40 model is the result of a conceptual error; papers In the Minkowski tradition will not be considered. 3. Concepts of physics (space, time etc.). The critical debate shows that the virtue of reticence on concepts has left the field to ambitious and garrulous philosophers, who are typically afflicted with skepticism and lack common sense and that intuitive sense without which physics cannot be done. The task Is daunting and we are on shifting ground. To lay new foundations the study of concepts (philosophy). mathematics (methods of quantification) and physics must be integrated.

Abstract:

It is difficult to find critical work about Einstein's Theory of Relativity in most standard physics journals. Galilean Electrodynamics, founded by the late Dr. Petr Beckmann in 1989, is a notable exception. Since Einstein's 1905 paper, Relativity has had many critics and although it is widely accepted today, there is still a minority who question the central tenets of Relativity Theory. Galilean Electrodynamics is devoted to publishing high quality scientific papers, refereed by professional scientists, that are critical of Special Relativity, General Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, Big Bang theory and other establishment doctrines.

Abstract:

There are many erroneous assumptions in contemporary science. The paper describes the origins of the two of them: dark energy and neutrinos. All errors are due to the Theory of Relativity. It must be thrown out and forgotten. The electromagnetic interaction accurately describes the force that depends on the distance and velocity. For exact calculation of gravitational interactions it has created the Galactica system, which is freely available on the Internet.

As a result of the analysis of publications it is established that uncertainty of trajectories of Apophis are caused by imperfection of methods of its determination. The differential equations of motion of Apophis, planets, the Moon and the Sun are integrated by new numerical method and the evolution of the asteroid orbit is investigated. The Apophis will pass by the Earth at a distance of 6.1 its radii on April 13th, 2029. It will be its closest approach with the Earth during next 1000 years. A possibility of transformation of Apophis orbit to an orbit of the Earth's satellite, which can be used for various tasks, is considered.

The influence of light source on the receiver as electromagnetic interaction is considered. The mechanical influence of the moving charged body on a motionless one is defined in the experimental laws of electrodynamics. These laws determine the changes of parameters of the light source that moves relatively the receiver.

Abstract:

The velocity of perihelion rotation of Mercury's orbit relatively motionless space is computed. It is prove that it coincides with that calculated by the Newtonian interaction of the planets and of the compound model of the Sun's rotation.

Abstract:

The paper continued clarifications on the validity of Newton's laws of gravity. Opponents of the law and of Newtonian mechanics led a number of arguments in their favor. Based on the solution of a number of problems by the program Galactica it is show that these arguments are untenable.
