CNPS New Landing Page, Volunteers, CNPS 2018
We are currently working on a new landing page for the CNPS that will be focused on attracting new members to the CNPS. The emphasis will be on “marketing” the group, its scientists, its critiques of mainstream, new theories and ideas, where to read and learn, and how to become involved. We are tailoring a WordPress website that has standard forms for these pieces of information that anyone can help edit and contribute.
The new website is found a: http://www.naturalphilosophy.org/home. It is currently under construction. The current website (http://www.naturalphilosophy.org) will be relabeled the “member’s” website with the new website being the home page for the organization.
How to be “Featured” on the New Website
The design and marketing team for the CNPS will be choosing many of the featured scientists, theories, models, and critiques of mainstream science. We have already started the process but if you are interested in being featured, one way to do so is to help out with the new website itself.
If you are willing to help write and fill out information for other scientists, models, theories, etc including your own, you can contact us.
Please contact us at volunteer@naturalphilosophy.org.
Volunteers Needed
We are looking for volunteers to help with the new website, the new natural philosophy wiki, the proceedings, and the forums. All you need is a computer, internet access, and a browser. Everything is editable online.
Please contact us again at volunteer@naturalphilosophy.org.
CNPS 2018 at UConn
We are finalizing CNPS 2018 to be at the University of Connecticut in June of 2018 and should have the formal announcement by month’s end. The conference venue will bring back memories for those who have been in the organization for some years. Dr. Eberely Spencer, former president of NPA (now the CNPS), was part of the math department and she helped organize conferences in the math department lecture room for many NPA conferences for many years.
UConn has many new facilities since we were last back there and we will be having our conference in the Nathan Hale Inn & Conference center. They have very economical rooms, regular hotel rooms and nice rooms for the conference itself.
We will be also opening up the 2018 Proceedings at the same time we formally announce the conference so get your papers started! Start your plans now to attend now. Having it at UConn is following our tradition of having the conference on alternating coasts in the USA.
We are looking to do the conference the last week in June.
Hi David.
I saw your conversation with Draftscience. I might be willing to volunteer, but I would need you to pass a small test:
As you may realize, most people assume the moisture in clear moist air is gaseous and not liquid. i believe this to be impossible and, therefore, the moisture in clear moist air is liquid. The reason these liquid nano-droplets seem invisible is because they are too small to cause defraction. in other words, defraction require a droplet that has a diameter larger than the wave length of a photon and the droplet size of H2O in clear moist air does not have a large enough diameter.
Moreover, the reason we know that the H2O in ambient air (in earth’s atmosphere) cannot be gaseous is because the phase of H2O can be determined by looking at the the phase diagram of H2O (steam tables) which indicates that at the temperature/pressures indicated in the atmosphere H2O must always be in the liquid phase.
Do you agree? If you disagree, Please provide details to support your argument

Isn’t this to do with the partial pressure of the water vapour? So if water vapour is 1% of atmospheric gasses the partial pressure of the water vapour is 1% of atmospheric pressure, Which ould be a gas to below room temperature.
Hello!
This is a good article because there are many tips and also many advices that will be very useful to me.
Thanks!
David, Greetings from Your PAL in Shelton, CT. I like your critical thinking campaign.
I have fond memories of U Conn Conferences. I stayed at Nathan Hale Inn each alternate year at U Conn.
I also am appreciative of all the volunteer help DeHilter family donated.
I don’t have enough time and other resources to prepare a formal paper, but maybe I can prepare a power point and make some kind of presentation in 2018 also as I have missed a couple of conferences.
Please give my regards to your family. Looking forward to seeing you in person, beyond the CNPS website.
I am not sure about the current status of my website http://www.OurPAL.com Unfortunately, like you I do not have enough time to do all I should do. Your talents are better suited for multi-tasking.

David,
Greetings from an old timer returning to CNPS from my preoccupation with writing an eBook for “Critical Thinkers”. Please see my recent post on “Relativity” for “Critical Thinkers”. I would be very pleased if you would give consideration of featuring my new Software Product that includes the eBook “Relativity: A Unified Queuing System” and its associated Predictive Model on the CNPS New Landing Page. Now that I have completed this major Software Product launch, I am free to provide whatever support that I am qualified to provide to CNPS.
