Greg on Survey and Upcoming Conference
Dear NPA members,
This week has seen a flurry of activity in the NPA. Over 200 people have completed the NPA Survey. If you are one of them, thank you very much. If you’re not, you still can. It only takes a few minutes. The results show strong support for the cause of the traditional NPA (represented by David and myself) and disdain for the current NPA board (headed by Barry Springer and Jim Newburn).
Interestingly, just this morning the Springer board announced a new conference, to be held in Baltimore on November 16-19. Those who represent the traditional NPA urge you NOT to cooperate with the current board. Please don’t send them your papers. And for goodness sakes, please don’t send them any more money. That gives them more fuel to waste on the new website, and to raise lawsuits against David and me. As I mentioned in the previous letter, we will hold NPA-21 in 2015, once this mess has cleared up. I have several papers already, and am ready to accept more if you want to send them to me.
I know that many of you are tired of hearing about this whole nightmare. I wish it would just go away, but unfortunately it won’t until the members make it crystal clear to the current board that Barry Springer and Jim Newburn are not wanted. We need your help and support in this. I see no other way out.
Thanks again for your support. We’ll get through this, and grow from it.
