Explaining Illusions, or Finding Paradoxes
David and Nick are right regarding ‘critical thinking’ as a better concept than ‘dissident physics’. However, it is not enough to use a better term. When we have found a paradox we become more convincing if we can trace the error back to its origin. How did the illusion arise? Nick has done a good work on the paradox but not explained the illusion of time dilation.
The irrelevance of transverse ether wind
In coherent systems, like interferometers and telescopes, the normal to the wave fronts is the observable direction of light and is independent of ether wind blowing inside the wave fronts. A transverse ether wind changes real motion of a light beam but not the observable orientation of wave fronts inside that beam. In MMX standing waves have wave fronts always parallel to defining mirrors and light speed is always c along the optical axis in relation to the ether. We can see this by realizing that in resonators light takes the fastest, not the shortest way between mirrors. Therefore, we get no effect in transverse arm in MMX and no effect in Einstein s light clock. The factor GAMMA, or square root of 1-v^2/c^2, is an illusion. Stokes made this mistake by using spherical wave fronts in MMX instead of plane fronts. A very important mistake, that Einstein copied and used in relation to time dilation. The GAMMA factor is an illusion. Time dilation is an illusion. The traditional interpretation of MMX according to Stokes has been wrong for more than 100 years without being observed. This is explained in detail in my article called The Radial Ether Wind. See Fig 2 in that article. The irrelevance of transverse ether wind means also that stellar aberration is useless in relation to the ether wind.
Einstein produced so many errors that he obscured the fact that Stokes made the first one, and Einstein just copied a very important error. If we want to detect the real direction of light motion we must use focused light and base the detection on amplitude, and not on phase. In coherent systems, based on phase, only one component in the ether wind is relevant and that is the longitudinal component, transverse to the wave fronts.
The dilation of atomic clocks
In atomic clocks orbiting electrons move forwards and backwards in relation to the ether wind. During each orbiting period the electron is accelerated and decelerated by the ether wind. Due to a very small difference between these two effects we get a clock frequency in proportion to 1-v^2/c^2. This means that the behavior of the atomic clocks in the GPS system is a dilation of clocks, not a dilation of time. We can explain clock behavior in GPS by one cause, instead of as an effect of SRT plus GRT. This dilation of clocks is described in my articles called Light without Energy and The Falling Ether.
Since scientists accept black matter and black energy it is very remarkable that they still deny black ether. Since we abolish time dilation we also must abolish contraction of space. Instead we need contraction of physical objects and this can explain MMX as a useless method, due to a compensating effect. A radial ether wind can explain gravity and the Pioneer anomaly as well. The ether wind changes the length of a meter defined by light to the same amount as the length of the mechanical standard in Paris.
The ether wind can also explain the bending of light near our sun. This effect is not caused by transverse ether wind, but is instead due to a gradient in the longitudinal ether wind. An ether wind constituted by particles explains gravity if it is directed in radial direction. Normally bodies in free fall move in such a way that ether wind and gravity from other bodies are zero. However, there is one exception during a solar eclipse. The Moon is shielding the gravity from the Sun on only parts of our planet. Therefore, it is possible to detect a small difference in the shielding on a small body in relation to an averaged effect on our planet in the point where that body is. Such effects have been detected vertically in a gravimeter and horizontally in a radio tower. This explains also why these indications are bipolar. See The Falling Ether.
