Description
Electric charge, electromagnetic energy, electric and magnetic fields possess momentum and energy which we could experience with our sense organs. Therefore , all these are real physical entities (objects). All physical objects are subject to gravitation. Electromagnetic entities should similarly be subject to gravitation. We shall explain many perplexing electromagnetic phenomena from this consideration by the use of classical electrodynamics of Maxwell. Our study consists of three parts viz., (i) Time dilation, Thomas Precession, Precession of Mercury?s Orbit (ii) The Experiments of Fizeau, Michelson-Morley and Michelson-Gale and iii) Auxiliary and Real Lorentz Transformation Equations and the Theory of Relativity. We believe that our study will overthrow the theory of relativity--special & general from the domain of electrodynamics and gravitation at a stroke. This presentation deals with the first study.
