Become a Featured Scientist

John Chappell Natural Philosophy Society > Become a Featured Scientist

In 2018, the CNPS initiated a marketing campaign which features scientists from it’s memberships in order to attract more critical thinkers to join our group. To become a featured scientist in the CNPS, prerequisites must be met.

This is an example of a modern photo for one of our featured scientists, Bob de Hilster.

Prerequisites for Becoming a Featured CNPS Scientist

  1. An active Facebook account and demonstrating the following:
    • Bi-Weekly (or more frequent) updates as to your scientific activity and interests including photos, links, or comments
    • Showing “interest” or “going” to CNPS Facebook Events including video conferences and the annual conference.
  2. A full encyclopedic biography in the natural philosophy wiki (http://wiki.naturalphilosophy.org). Please look at example biographies to understand the details that are expected. You need to contact us at wiki@naturalphilosophy.org in order to get a login to the wiki.
  3. A “modern” high definition photo in an interesting setting or activity. This setting or activity does not have to be science related and could be related to a hobby, special location, or something to do with your current or previous profession.
